I made this leather quilt back in the eighty’s.  Each piece (square) is 4 1/2 inches by 4 1/2 inches.

I cut each one out by hand, punched holes in all four sides by hand, stitched it by hand, the binding on the edge is stitched by hand , and the size of the quilt 8 ft. by 10 ft.  Over 800 squares !

I worked on it for about 5 years and don’t have a place to show this at this time so please enjoy !  I love my job !!
